When I started working when I was 16 my parents started charging board, but when I moved out at 18, they gave it all back to me, which was fantastic, could fit out my new place, pay bond and added to my savings :)

Mine did the same thing for my brother, it was really helpful when he decided to move out. But I guess there's not much people as smart ... *sigh*
