Today, it was my first day at my new job. My new boss asked me if I was single. After telling him I have been happily married for 6 years, he fired me on the spot. FML

Maybe he was feeling sorry to fire a single mother but then realized you wasn't single so then fired you then…. In some states this is illegal and in others the boss can get away with this kind of shit, so get an attorney's advice.
