Today, my boyfriend got a new job. He'll be over the road for three weeks at a time, and home on the remaining week. Basically, I'll see him once a month. Guess which time of month it'll fall on. FML

OP here again. Wow i haven't been on this site in forever. I can't even see him every month now, I see him every few months, and of course, ALWAYS ON MY PERIOD. That's life I suppose. And no I can't do birth control to EVERYONE who said it, all kinds effected me badly! :)

yeah, having a boyfriend who is gone for a month at a time isn't so horrible. be happy he has a job. and eventually he won't be home on that time of the month it'll fluctuate. Trust me I would know. My boyfriend is a truck driver and is gone for a month at a time and is only home for 4 days at a time. and we've been dating for almost 2 years. You come to enjoy and cherish the time you have together, and it just means the time you do have together is more valued. Good luck!

So go on the pill and move that week to a different one, it's not rocket science, people do it for wedding, honeymoons, special events all the time.

You can induce it a few days early by taking vitamin c pills. A week ahead, take one, then the next day two, then the next day three. Then stop taking them. You can move it for a month or two til it's at a good time for you then leave it. Also some teas help it too. Tmi but still.
