At least he proposed... There are much worse things drunk guys talk about... And being drunk is one of the times when some people have the balls to say stuff they normally wouldn't, so perhaps he will have a much better way to propose to you in the probably near future when he is actually sober and works up the courage.

LOL This was rather funny actually!! So did he actually have a ring there in his hand when he did it?? He may have just been so excited that in his drunken state, he couldn't hide it! Drunk person's words are the sober person's thoughts!! Hope you said yes, if he's comfortable enough to take a shit in front of you, obviously you guys are close enough to take the next step! Congrats OP, as much as that's not the ideal "romantic" proposal, he loves you and wants to be with you through everything! <3
