Today, my boyfriend of a year and a half informed me that he had "accepted" my stomach, even though it didn't conform to his "preference" for a flat stomach. He then added that his acceptance doesn't extend to my "chunky thighs". FML

You do realize that a woman can have children and still obtain a flat stomach if she's fit and eats right, also you can be thin and still have boobs and a butt (curves). As a female I can tell you that I have my own personal preference about my body and some John doe isn't going to change that. I'm still a real woman but I certainly don't have much to "hold on to".

Women "should have" bodies. That's ******* it. You're not better than him in the belief women should be curvier. You can have a preference, but not everyone should have to meet your expectations and saying women "should have curves" still shames women.
