Today, my boyfriend of a year broke up with me because "God told him to." What God didn't tell him was that I would check his e-mail and find all the e-mails to and from his new girlfriend. FML

on one hand its sux that he used God as the reason for him leaving you but if you went and checked his emails, you found what you were looking for, cuz if you trusted him then you wouldn't have checked in the first place.

I don't have a problem with checking the emails. If someone is hiding something, then there's something wrong with the relationship. Unfortunately, too many people use "god told me to" as an excuse for doing terrible things. At least you found out he was bullshitting.
