Today, my boyfriend punched a hole in a door. This is on top of the broken handle, cracked sink top, dented fridge, and other holes in the wall he has also made. We are 4 months into our year lease. I don't think we are getting our $720 deposit back. FML

Today, my dad decided to get his friend to help move our old sofas to save money. Its leg got stuck in the doorway, scratched the entire hallway wall, punched a big hole in it and the other leg made a big dent in our front door. We live in an apartment complex and now have to to pay for everything to be fixed. FML

I think you have more serious things to worry about than getting back a $720 deposit. You have an extremely violent boyfriend that can't control his anger. I'd be more concerned about that.

Well. It's not clear that he paid for anything at all, even though she did say "we". A lot of times women who rationalize their abusers behavior will gloss over other things too. Like taking on extra work, so he can sit at home getting pissed off and drinking beer.

sounds like he has an anger problem! maybe u should evaluate that situation a little more thoroughly. my ex husband use to do the same shit. until he took it out on my face. thats why hes now my ex. so maybe u should get out now that he hasn't turned it on u.

Obviously the door, handle, sink, refrigerator, and wall really pissed him off. They deserved what they got, the ******* assholes. Tell them to stop pissing him off, and the home abuse will stop.
