Today, I went into hysterics and started crying when my boyfriend pulled out a Tiffany's box at dinner. Then I found out he'd used the old box to make the $15 earrings he bought seem more "special." FML

Today, I went to Tiffany's to exchange a bracelet my boyfriend had given me for our year anniversary. It was the first gift that he actually spent money on me for. The sales lady then told me that the bracelet was not a real Tiffany's item. FML

Today, I opened some small cute birthday gifts at my boyfriend's house. As we left to go out, he slipped me a Tiffany box and said he wanted me to open it in private. The FML isn't that OP got hand towels (although, not to be materialistic, that would be a kinda crappy gift), the FML is that OP got hand towels while all of her bf's previous girlfriends got expensive tiffany jewelry.

that sucks but maybe he just wants to avoid the stress maybe meaning he likes you even more... But if you want something just ask and ask why it was so difficult but don't ask why he hasn't gotten you any if your trying to find that out because it could just led to a fight or a feeling of uncomfortableness... Also with the towels that's a homey type of thing maybe he really wants you around more especially for the long haul
