Today, my daughter-in-law taught my 4-year-old grandson to burst into tears and yell, "Am I not good enough for you?" whenever I ask her if she's going to have any more children. FML

My Grandma does that to my mom every time because she hadn't had a boy just my sister and I. She claims my dad is going to be unhappy until he has a boy, and dad says he doesn't want another kid that at 52 he is too old for newborns...... every time we visit her she says the same thing xD

I don't blame her! My in laws pressed me all the time it was awful!

Hahahahaha that's awesome! No offense but that sounds sooo funny. Really sorry but god that sounds funny!

I'm confused... Did you think this FML is funny?

Maybe they're asking out of curiosity. Did that ever enter any of your judgmental minds? From what I'm reading there is no pressuring going on.

Curiosity is asking once and dropping it. Op implied that the question has been asked a lot. It sounds like most of us who are cheering her dil on are ones who have been in that very same spot. We understand op loves her grand baby and is excited for more but those of us who have been pressured or asked constantly also know how hurtful that question can quickly become. All too long it's been normal for young girls to be asked by too many people that question. I think some are just beyond sick of it.

Deserved... If she doesn't want more kids, lay off.

Hahaha that's just plain funny there.

Guess that's your answer. Quit being an over bearing pain in the ass.

Bugger me, no wonder mother in law jokes are so popular. OP, you deserved that n more, reminds me of my lovely MIL telling me that my clock is ticking n i need to hurry up n have kids after getting out of hospital after miscarrying at 18 weeks. Yeah, MIL's suck arse and you should be grateful for the grandkid u do have. I dont think i can accurately convey the disgust i have for the OP.
