I'm a massage therapist too, frankly there is a long list of reasons why I don't offer massages at my own home, aside from giving a complete and random stranger your address which IMO is not the safest thing, what you have experienced in giving people the wrong impression is the other reason
What I don't understand is this: I know several people who have their office at home. One is a physical therapist, another is a doctor in alternate medicine. All of them receive clients at home, but they all have a big sign in their front lawn with their office name on it. Why doesn't the op have that?
