In Australia (where I'm from) it's about $18 for a ticket which is roughly $27USD. Add in $15 AUD for popcorn & a drink and it becomes over $70 AUD (so around $90USD) for a couple to go to the movies If someone interrupted my $70 movie not only would I tell them where to go, but I'd also demand a refund because if the theatre was in on it then it means they'd have known about the interruption & should have advised patrons when purchasing tickets, so that they could decide whether they wanted to have their movie stopped rather than assuming it's ok! Alternatively, your cheap ass fiancee could have at least offered to give people a free ticket or a refund to go & see the movie again. On principal if my boyfriend proposed at a movie theatre I'd have dumped him on the spot. He might as well have proposed in a dumpster full of faeces...
they're just jealous~ but **** em, assuming you said yes, you're getting married.
he put this shit on you. first, don't propose at the movies. sorry dude. second, if you're going to propose at the movies, DON'T DO IT DURING THE MOVIE... maybe afterwards so you don't have to piss anyone else off? and i don't think it's too romantic either. well you wouldn't see anyone else doing that so it's sweet. but i would get really pissed at you guys...
Your boyfriend/fiance is a dumbass for think anyone gives a rat's ass about your relationship, but that's not your fault.
okay, wtf? if i was in a movie theater and it STOPPED so some a-hole could propose to his wife, i'd be pissed off, ESPECIALLY if it was at a good point in the movie. what kind of movie was it? if he proposed in a horror or action movie, id be extremely pissed. i hope he at least interrupted a crap romantic comedy, like Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past.
LOL FYL, but he so deserved that. he was putting u under pressure AAAND annoying other ppl

Well, it is kind of rude to interrupt the movie for other people. I know I would get made if the movie I pair for suddenly stopped in the middle so some guy I don't know could propose.
Who would even think of interrupting a movie to propose? Dumbest idea ever. Plus getting down on one knee in a movie theater? Ewwwwwwww. Those floors are nasty.
