I've pretty much raised 4 kids, that weren't mine, and I've dealt with similar situations. Their parents would stop by, spoil them with candy, junk food, and toys. I was the only one to discipline, and was resented for it. Since then, I've also lost all my patience. So what I would do OP: I'd have given the little brat something to wish me dead over... but that is why I've made the decision not to become a parent.
