Ooh that sucks. The same kind of thin happened to me before. These people were taking me somwhere and asked how I liked this one teacher, so I said he was fun but just an okay teacher (an understatement because she doesn't really teach at all), and it turned out that she was their relative. But good job for speaking your mind.
How ignorant. YDI.
You deserve it for being completely ignorant and uncultured.
Seriously. These FMLs need a "Who F***ing Cares!" Button. :P
You deserve it!! You don't know how hard it is for us artists to create something new for the world to enjoy!
I think the original question needs more detail. Harder in what way? Both acting and artistry have different skill sets required, and some people will be more adept at one naturally than the other. Plus to confuse things, acting can be described as an art, and there are several types of artists. So the whole argument is kind of convoluted.

well youre an idiot because art is much more complicated ... ... I can't draw for my life nor can I pass it off like I can ... meanwhile people will see a movie with jessica Simpson and call that "acting" ... it ain't hard
...honestly? Comparing actors and artists is like comparing apples and pears. Done well, each require talent and effort.
