Today, my friends and I were drinking boba. On the side of the cup it said "Please drink carefully to avoid choking on the Boba". I started to laugh at the ridiculousness of the label, and choked on the boba in a coughing fit. FML

Today, I was drinking a bottle of water. My friend came up from behind and scared me, causing me to inhale and choke on the water. Lacking air, I passed out. I awoke to him on the ground laughing his ass off. I almost drowned drinking a bottle of water. FML

Today, I was making some tea for my colleagues when I accidentally dropped the tea bag into my cup of coffee. I thought, "Why not?" and took a sip. It tasted like a caffeinated botanical disaster, and the whole office got to enjoy me retch for 10 minutes. FML

Today, I was drinking from a water bottle while in a lecture. The water caught in my throat and it felt like I was choking to death. Instead of asking me if I was okay or trying to help, the guy sitting next to me told me to shut up. FML

It's called boba or bubble tea or pearls. I prefer pearls as that's the original word but when I order by saying pearls at some places they'll ask "boba?" and i'm like DUH. YOU KNOW WHAT A PEARL IS. DON'T ASK ME REDUNDANT QUESTIONS.

haha i went with my frineds once to get smothies with the "bubbles" inside and 2 of us didnt like them. so we shot them out of the straw. I had 3 get stuck in my super thick curly hair.

Anyone ever gotten a bubble stuck in the straw, then sucked REALLY hard to dislodge it, only to have it suddenly do so VERY VIOLENTLY and rocket down your throat? It's the oddest feeling ever. You don't even choke, it basically just ends up in your stomach =S On the flip side, I'm an ace with those things and can bean someone in the head with a bubble from across a room.
