Today, my husband and I were diagnosed with herpes. We've been together for five years and were both virgins before. Even the doctor couldn't give any other explanation. FML

In the above comment you probably meant observations** and grammar***. I could be wrong though. I don't want you thinking my new rank has gone to my head.

ummm.... if you aren't cheating then your husband is. you don't just get stuff like that from a toilet seat.

doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out. once you've eliminated the obvious......

Wow, in addition to bumping into a Nazi, I'm also getting attacked by a bunch brainwashed boner lovers. It's enough that they're in love with dicks, but they should atleast not be one themselves. My comment was only a opinion and a response to your ******* FML God. Take your fingers out of your asses, please and learn to respect opinions.

Who was cheating? That's what I wanna know!

you can't get it from a toilet seat but you can get it passed to you through birth. and cold sores isn't the same thing as genital herpes look it up and stop being stupid

Do ur research op. Most people are born with herpes in their jaw/mouth area and that's what causes herpes and even when you don't have an open sore it can be passed to the genitals. Make sure you have the facts before you jump to concusions.

Uh...what? You are so far off the mark, I don't even know where to begin. The rate is about 1 in 3300 births. Before you go spouting "knowledge" and trying to sound smart, do your own research. Holy ******* hell.

True, however most people are HSV-1 seropositive by the age of 5. Most people actually get HSV-1 from their parents kissing them. Fool-proof way to find if someone is cheating: have your doctor check your pap smear for HPV. 70% of adults are HPV positive by the time they are 25, and 90% of adults are positive (there are over 100 types of strains, some cause warts, others cause cervical cancer). The only way to get HPV in the cervix is from sex, and condoms don't protect against. That being, if you were both virgins before each other, and neither of you cheated, you would both have to be HPV negative. On the other hand, if either one of you cheated, you would have a high chance of being HPV positive.
