Today, my husband had a temper tantrum because I wouldn't get him a chocolate bar at the store register. FML

... Just buy him the chocolate, then ground him.

Someone needs to grow up a little... Seriously, OP. Grow up and buy him the chocolate bar.

It's just chocolate, not a gun. Talk about making something out of nothing, OP.

Nice job, now people are picturing your husband stamping his feet and screaming like a child, which I doubt he was doing. Are you perhaps one of those people who orders a person to calm down the moment they respond to you with even a hint of impatience?

Sounds like a bad boy needs a spanking.

I would have just grabbed the damn candy bar and put in on the belt and not said a word.

That's a bit odd, but I feel compelled to bring up the fact that no man ever entirely grows up. Every one of them, no matter how sophisticated or seemingly mature, has a little boy inside him who's just dying to come out.

Buy him the damn chocolate! Does he work? If yes buy the damn thing, he most likely threw a fit because you said no over a $1.00 candy bar.

He's an adult, he can have a chocolate bar if he wants. I would be mad too. It sounds like this was the last straw in a long chained you being really controlling and annoying to him. He's not your child, he's your husband.

Honestly, I'd be pissed too. I mean, he's a grown man. He can decide when he wants to buy himself some chocolate. It's not up to you to make specific rules for him. Marriage is about equality. Just saying.
