Right. Fast forward 13 months. Worse case scenario: This same selfish man will be the baby's daddy and will do nothing to assist you, or the baby. You are at your wits end because you have not slept or had a moment to yourself. He comes home and demands you make him dinner and wants to be left alone to watch the game "because it's been a long day" and wants you to go down on him. I pity you OP and it's not too late for the big A. You don't need anything but a libido to make a child and your guy demonstrates that point. It's your choice. If you want someone who has a bit more than simply a libido and can step up to the plate, take responsibility and help then let him know the situation, very clearly. Maybe he needs to grow up before he has the responsibility of a child. It's your gig. Best case scenario would be him taking his head out of his ass, but that's a bit of a gamble.

What's with all the guy-haters all jumping the bandwagon to say the guy would be a bad father and start to analyze him entirely when they know nothing about him, except that one time he didn't comfort OP while she was throwing up. The experiences of oneself in life are what make you sympathize and determine your reaction. Myself, and I believe most guys, wouldn't want or need someone to be there while they're throwing up. Even as a kid I didn't want my parents there, just wanted to be alone til I was done, so I wouldn't jump to hold anyone's hair while they're throwing up.

Gosh, the women on here expect their men to be SAINTS. Men are human, just like women. Why do you all automatically assume that the guy didn't help her vomit because he doesn't give a shit about her? Like other posters have said, I don't want anyone near me while I'm puking either, and I put my hair up before hand, if I have time, so no vomit gets in my hair. Maybe he was giving her some privacy.
