I never got the point of this. Why don't you just put whipped cream on their face and not their hand? That way you wouldn't need to tickle them at all.

Unless you literally inhaled some of the whipped cream on accident and irritated your airways or something, I really don't see how this is an FML. Oh my god, you had to clean your face and hands before going back to sleep - boo freaking hoo. And either your husband has a spontaneous sense of humor, or he possibly did that as revenge for something you did. If that's the case, then YDI.
