Today, my mom asked if she could use my red dress for her two-week trip to the Caribbean. I said no, because I was going to a party and I wanted to wear it. She called me a selfish, greedy bitch who would stay single forever. I paid for her plane ticket, her hotel fees and her cruise ship fee. FML

You and your mom are both a little ridiculous. She overreacted, but at the same time, you could've chosen to wear a different dress, too. I mean, if you're sending her on a cruise and she feels like she doesn't have clothes appropriate for it, it makes sense she'd be upset.

#20 is right. Don't cancel her trip, you'll just dig yourself a deeper hole... alrough it does sound like very good payback. Instead, as you drop her off to the airport, wear your red dress, and go on about how much hard work you put it in do your job at work and pay off her trip.
