Today, my neighbor went on vacation, leaving me in charge of his cat and dog. For some reason, he calls his dog "Cat" and his cat "Dog". There are two pet food containers, one labeled "Cat" and the other labeled "Dog". I have no idea which one goes to which animal. FML

Taste-test. The cat food will be of better quality. Dogs will eat anything. Give them both both. See who likes which. Will he ever know?

Most cats will not touch dog food, but dogs LOVE cat food, so maybe see which the cat wants. Also, dont just guess because i know from experience that if a dog eats cat food they can get diarrhea

Depending on what dog it is, cat food's usually smaller. You can always look it up online and compare.

Put the cat by them and let him choose. Not the dog because dogs like cat food. The cat should choose and there ya go. Cats rarely like dog food.
