Today, my roommate confided in me that she hadn't been taking showers while at school because she was afraid of being in the shower when the fire alarm goes off. She goes home once every month, and will only shower there. I have to live with her for the rest of the year. FML

Today, while watching TV in my dorm, I clearly heard my roommate yell to someone proudly, "I've only taken a shower 4 or 5 times since I've been here." He's been my roommate for four months. FML

Oh god, reading this made my skin crawl. I'm a bit of a clean freak body wise. I have a shower in the morning and bath at night. The longest I ever went without was a trip to gaelteacht ( irish community in Kerry) and they had no running water, a week with no shower just dips in lakes. Worst week of my life!!

Get a male roommate. He'll take 4-7 showers a day, so that will maximize your shower usage. They tend to spill "conditioner" on the floor and the walls -- don't use it in your hair ;)
