Hold it!!! Dude, a 13 month kid is just a baby, nothing wrong with sleeping with him. Obviously you'd never had a kid or you'd know how mothers worry when their youngsters are apart from them. That's why some mothers prefer to sleep with them in case they need something, if that is the case here. I even bet the baby was just stretching and accidentally hit her in the eye. :/
Erm, some of us really don't have kids (and even don't plan on having them), but all of us were told the stories from our childhood. According to the story from my mother, my crib stood in a different room since I was about half a year. That caused no problems, and that way I didn't try to seek attention from my parents by yelling. At least that taught me to not freak out when I was left alone in the house, pretty much.
It's really not recommended that you let your kids sleep in bed with you, and it's completely ridiculous of you to infer that every parent does it and the people without kids can't understand. A lot of parents don't...maybe because you're not supposed to, maybe because they're not paranoid enough to think their kid will vanish or die if they're not with them 24/7... You do know that the kid is more likely to get hurt or die if they're in bed with you than in their own bed, right? Plus, if they have their own bed from day 1, you never have to TEACH them to sleep on their own, because they never knew otherwise. That makes for less scared and less troublesome kids.
Exactly. Being a hovering overprotective mommie is among the worst things a woman could do for her kid.
punch the ****** back
why don't u just say 1 year old instead of 13 month old?? :S
