Why is it creep and/or "so close" to get someone a vibrator? It obviously is a joke, probably intented to make fun of them for not having an active sexlife.

I highly highly highly doubt that it's a brother-to-sister gift... it didn't even cross my mind that that was a possibility until I started reading the comments. And I don't think it's creepy at all as a sister-to-sister gift, they're probably not young'uns, they can do as they like.

I don't see a problem getting a sister a sex toy. I'm a girl and I've given my sister toys as presents when she first started being 'active' sexually. Hell, I've gifted some of my friends toys as gag gifts before....and no one wraps a vibrator in the shape of a vibrator. Most gifts come in a box ;) Either way, sucks to have made the mistake.

if this is real, thats freaking creepy. my first thought, though, was that you took the scenario straight out of "worst week of my life", a british tv show, where the main character accidentally gave his girlfriend's vibrator to her dad on christmas
