Wow, there is about 20 levels of awkward here. OK, I can see it being less awkward if it is sister-to-sister, but still, since this seems to be at a joint party with parents, you would have to know she would have opened it in front of disapproving dad anyway. Now if the sister and dad had two separate parties, then this is classic FML. If they shared a party and everyone was opening gifts together, then YDI.

Its not that hard to imagine a sister giving a sister a vibrator, even if it's a joke gift or not. I agree with 6, it coulda been worse if the dad was happy with his gift...

They are born on the same day, this is quite common. It's a sister to sister present which was meant to be as an inside joke ppl. There is nothing weird about it!

i agree with #56 and #90 :D it could be sisters and it could be a joke or a replacement for that toothbrush but it sounds like it would be embarrassing to open in front of other people like a dad
