Y'all take this stuff WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. When most guys say stuff like this, it's a joke. Nothing more.

It's fine if he's joking with her in private, but when he shouts something like that in public, it's not funny. The fact that he "shouted over" to her makes it sound like there were a lot of people in between them, and he was deliberately trying to embarrass her.
