I wish I was driving by
Dude, speeding downhill and getting your pant stuck in your chain and just ripping your pants is a freakin blessing.. Be glad you didn't launch yourself face foreward into the road. So this is me telling you to quit your whining!
There's no such thing as half-naked for men. If the world can see your junk, you are naked; if they can't you are not. If you are wearing a Speedo, you are clothed.
Edit - sorry - he/she beat me to it
Sorry, I misread it. I could have sworn that I read that the OP was male. Women can be half-naked if they are exposing their breasts or vajayjay, but not both. Nevertheless, it doesn't appear that the OP had either region exposed, so she was not half-naked. Sorry for the inconvenience.
this has got to be fake. there is no way that a bike chain could rip off your pant leg. that only happens on tv. ive gotten plenty of pant legs caught in chains because i used to be into the torn up jeans look and the only thing that has happened is it stopped me from going anywhere because the chain got messed up. if this was true you most likely would have fallen off.
Well, only thing that I can think of to make the chainring to continue with so much force is a hipster riding a fixie. But then again, if it was a fixed gear, I think the rider would go flying if something got caught on the chainring.
No, you would not go flying off the handle bars. You would lock up your rear whee(this is assuming the person had a fixed gear)l and skid. I doubt you would even fall over if you were going fast enough due to the fact that bike wheels act like gyroscopes and keep you upright. FYL. Look into getting a chain guard if that fits your bike.
If the material is worn thin enough, it would be possible for the pants to rip and spit out the bottom of the chain ring without locking the thing up. And if the OP is routinely biking 12 miles one way in jeans, then they might well have been worn that thin.
The only way your jeans would have gotten caught is if they were tattered. So, you deserve it for wearing crap jeans while riding a bike.
I call fake cause the gear couldn't rip your whole pant leg off. once it got caught you'd stop peddling
CRAP! I miss all the good stuff.
