What's the point of going to a salon if you're just going to take over the job of the hairdresser? I can see why you'd be annoyed if she wasn't paying attention, but you really didn't need to be a brat about it. I'd say you deserved it, but no one deserves to have two layers of skin burned off their ear. :c
1. You should upgrade salons to a place where you receive your demanding attention. 2. I hope your ear recovers. That is karma for you.
As #25 said. Another term for Straightener is Flat Iron. And that's for Americans too. :D As a Cosmetologist I'd be pretty pissed if a client grabbed one of my tools. Those things can be really expensive, the OP is lucky she didn't drop it. I can understand being concerned if the person working on your hair appears to be less than attentive, but if she hadn't burned you by then, chances are she wasn't going to at all. And if you honestly felt that you HAD to be so freaking anal and do it your way (because you clearly know everything), then you could have politely told her that you changed your mind. That way, you would have been less of a whiny bitch. ...And perhaps you would have been able to keep the skin on your ear as well. Bottom line, I am in agreement with the general crowd. YDI.
That's what you get smartie
"That's what you get for being a controlling bitch. YDI." QFT
thats an FYL. you just wanted the person do do his damn job right!

Why would you do that? Don't be a bitch. YDI.
How much attention does it require to hold something and slowly pull down?
