Today, my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time. Instead of moaning like any normal person, he just kept saying stuff like "uh-huh," "not too bad," and "yup" in a complete monotone. It was probably the most uncomfortable experience of my life. FML

Just because they had sex 'for the first time' doesn't necessarily mean it was their very FIRST time having sex period. She would've clarified if it was their actual 'first' time.

Maybe I'm wrong but I understood it was THEIR first time as a couple. Not ever. He could just be nervous even if he's been with others but first time with you. If first time EVER hes probably SUPER NERVOUS. Need to try one more time if its STILL awkward... Run. That lack of emotion during the largest expression of emotions makes me think he could suffer from psychopathy.

Actually in this case, lack of emotion doesn't indicate psychopathy. Due to the nature of psychopathy people affected tend to enjoy sex very much, be promiscuous and think very highly of themselves and their sexual abilities so his reaction is isn't indicitve of that. More likely his flat affect has to do with nervousness, an attempt to prevent premature ejaculation or he's just a douchebag.

idk why youre getting thumbed down... op needs to talk about her issue w this problem. so yes communication.although that is the issue... later after sex op needs to bring it back up and discuss it with her partner... youre suppose to be best friends w ur partner... so open up and talk about things.
