Don't get yourself down OP! Sure it's embarrassing, but EVERYONE experiments with SOMETHING in their life. Don't be ashamed of who you are. It's a natural curiosity to wonder what other things feel like, new emotions. At least your Dad is supportive and understands. Above all, he still accepts you as his son and you can rest safely assured that no matter how/who you are, you have the moral support behind you.
The FML isn't really that his dad was weird, it was that his "friend's" parents were homophobic and that they were discovered by said parents.
