Awks

Today, while driving to work, I stopped to let an old man cross the street. The driver behind me honked their horn, so I drove slow to piss them off. A few turns later, I pulled into the car park and noticed the other driver following me. She works in the office next to mine. We met the other day. FML

I also drive slow like that when people are aggressive drivers.

Now you know exactly who to report for road rage and aggressive driving.

I HATE overly aggressive drivers. I hate aggressive drivers in general actually. Why is everyone constantly in a rush? I don't get it, no one knows how to take their times these days. I never speed, ever. I'm ALWAYS within 5 MPH of the speed limit, and I hate going faster than the actual speed limit. If the limit is 60 I'm going 55-65, but most of the time I'm at 60 exactly. There's just no need to speed. I'd rather get there 5 minutes later and safely rather than speed and get there sooner.

There should be a button for "I agree, your life sucks, but you're not exactly helping." I get that aggressive drivers are annoying but you being annoying back isn't going to make the situation any better.

I've often done that. Passive aggression FTW!

Were they honking at you because they recognized you want wanted to say hi? Were you driving slower than the speed limit? If so then YDI for creating a hazard. If you were driving the speed limit and they were being an aggressive ass then fyl. We need more information here.

She's the one who should be embarrassed.

You should have told her shes number one if you get what I mean

I'd bet good money she was more embarrassed than you once she got out of the car :D

That's her problem not yours. She was being an arsehole driver. She should be embarrassed.

"to piss them off" is never a good reason to do something. Maybe she honked because you stopped suddenly and she didn't see the old man. Even if that isn't the case, revenge is never the answer, especially for something as petty as just honking a horn. And have some consideration for the people who might be driving behind her.
