Today, I'm meeting my boyfriend's very conservative parents for the first time, so I decided to dress appropriately and curl my hair to match. In doing so, I accidentally touched my neck with the iron, and I now have a burn there that look a lot like a hickey. FML

Just tell them you burnt yourself, I'm sure you'll all have a good laugh. If you don't acknowledge it, and they see it, they might think it's a hickey, but if you flat out mention it, no big deal.

makeup doesnt work number 53 and thats happened to my friend too it was pretty funny because my friend said to a parent who she knew that she burned herself and the lady said she used that excuse when she was younger too haha
