Today, I was driving in my very own car that I bought and paid for myself, when I stopped at a stop light. Then I noticed the truck in front of me turn on his reverse lights. I honked desperately. He hits me, looks out the window and says, "I see no damage" and drives away. FML

Hope you got his license plate number

I see no damage, lol. I would of been pissed though.

no excuses, ydi. if u see a guy with a chainsaw WALKING toward you, you would stand there? u see reverse lights, u pop your gears into reverse right away. your fault you stood there hoping he will realize you are there.

I don't agree with #12 but insurance companies would look at this scenario the same way.

agree with #4. This one is an easy fix.

This happened to me, except I was the one who rear ended this girl. She pulled over, took a look at her car, saw no damage, yelled at me and drove off.

Even if you don't get his license plate, your insurance will pay for it, and if you have good insurance, you won't get surcharged. This same situation happened to me in October and I haven't had to pay a cent extra on my insurance* *Except mine happened on an on-ramp to the highway in traffic. Really, WHO backs up on a one-way on-ramp?

#12- how do you know there weren't any cars behind him/her?

....You managed to use proceded twice. why is everyone obsessed with that word?

"Today, I stopped at a red light. I noticed the car in front of me had the reverse lights on. I thought to myself "Meh, that person must know. They wouldn't do that." The light turned green. Turns out they didn't. Nor did they have insurance. FML" Anyone? Anyone? It hasn't even been two weeks and this FML is already being repeated. Booorrinng!

#12, are you unfamiliar with roads? There were probably cars behind him.
