Today, I was enjoying my last day of Spring Break in Panama City. I got up to dance on the stage at the Holiday Inn in front of hundreds of college kids. I tried to be sexy by turning around and bending over. My friends took pictures and my bloody tampon string was hanging out the whole time. FML

Today, I was feeling confident, so I rented a cabana at the beach and put on my best swimsuit. I was at the bar when suddenly the stool gave way under me. I was drenched in Mojito and a bunch of spring breakers laughed at me, making fat jokes. I spent the rest of the day crying in the cabana. FML

Today, I got back from a fun vacation I took with my husband. During the vacation, I participated in a wet t-shirt contest and a bunch of pictures of me flashing my breasts and waving my t shirt over my head during the contest got posted online. My whole office is teasing me now. FML

Today, I went swimming. While I was walking along side of the pool, everyone was staring at me. I began to think that my diet was really working. It was only an hour later, in the changing rooms, that I noticed the string from my Tampax that was sticking out of my swimming costume. FML

Today, I went to a party that my friends were throwing. I had a great time and got blackout drunk. I woke up to videos from my girlfriend from last night. At some point I'd managed to take off my shorts and boxers and spent the rest of the party naked from the waist down. FML

Word of advice: if your skirt is short enough for a tampon string to hang out you probably shouldn't be bending over anyway, let alone on stage. That's just slutty. Sorry but you asked for it.

@ The people saying about being sexy on your period. First off why would you want to be "sexy" at Spring Break with hot dudes/chicks and trying to act sexy when you're on your period? If the opportunity presented itself to hook up you couldn't or you'd have another FML story. I could care less but the venue seems a little off since it's to party/drink and hook up. All for trying to be sexy whenever but just seems Spring Break wouldn't be the time to attempt that.

LOL @ 19. There is no tampon with wings. You're thinking of pads. And no girl wants to wear a pad while she's on her period anyway. It's more noticeable than you think and it feels like you're wearing a diaper. To the sender, I don't know if this actually happened, there is no way to be sure. But if it did. That really sucks. Maybe next time be careful what you do while you're on your period.

To each their own. I feel like I'm sitting on a phone book when I wear pads, so I prefer tampons. I get why some people like them though. Just coz you don't feel a certain way doesn't mean other people do
