it had to be pretty damn extreme if shampoo was necessary and not just an option. as for her just trying to get extra money, I don't charge clients for a shampoo or basic style with a haircut. A lot of people pass on the shampoo for different reasons, but it sounds like this person could benefit from a better hygiene regimen or shampoo selection, I may love to do hair but I don't want to touch nastiness.

Everyone is different some ppl have naturally greasy hair regardless of how often it is washed I wash mine up to three times a day and sometimes it still looks kinda bad a helpful tip is use a hair drier instead of drip dry I'm not sure why but it helps

So either she wanted some extra cash by washing it, or you seem to believe that she enjoys touching your greasy hair. Or that you pay her so she needs to suck it up.
