You have reasonable grounds to sue for breach of your employment contract. Do you have a valid doctor's note? you will most likely need it as evidence towards wrongful termination. Consult with a lawyer, if you win the case (which you should) your employer will have to foot the bill as part of the remedies awarded to you in court.
Wimp. I get electric shocks at work every day and that doesn't keep me from showing up.
So you think getting electric shocks and being shot are comparable situations ?
I don't think you're doing your job correctly.
You better darn sue. You were wrongfully terminated and you could get compensated at least a year's worth of pay.
did you shoot yourself, did someone shoot you, or was it a accident? if it was #'s 1 and 3 i would have fired you too.
Shoot your boss while yelling "BREAK YO'SELF!" and see how he likes it.
how many days have you been home already, where were you shot and what's your job. if you plan on staying home for the entire recovery period then don't expect them to hold your job unless you filed a leave of absence
