Road rage

Today, my dog was riding my car's passenger seat. He clambered over onto my lap, causing me to lose control of the wheel for a few seconds. As I tried to knock him off me, I lost track of my speed, and ended up being pulled over for reckless driving. FML

Your dog was riding the seat? Why wasn't he riding IN the seat? No wonder you got distracted.

Kind of irresponsible on your part. Should have kept him in the backseat. You're lucky you didn't get into a serious accident.

@22- It really does depend on the dog. I had one dog that would just chill in the passenger seat and just sleep. My dog now on the other hand is a little monster in the car, so he has to be buckled all the time. Trust me, you learn to not give in to puppy eyes all the time after awhile.

Ahhh, fair enough. Carry on miss :) haha

Dogs are great and a pain but still you love them to bits...hope the ticket wasn't too high...

idiots like you should be permanently taken off the road before you kill someone, I hope they suspend your license

YDI an animal should be restrained in a vehicle. It is the law in my country that all pets are to be safely restrained while driving a vehicle.

Teaches you not to drive with your dog in the front. Or don't drive with your dog at all. Getting pulled over for it must suck but YDI.

Dogs should go in the back seat so they don't distract you. Its common sense. YDI.

This is why my dog sits in the back seat, it has been trained that way. A lot safer for everyone.

Dogs should ride in the back seat or in a kennel. It's your fault the dog did that and put your & other drivers lives in danger.
