So you're not her boyfriend, you're not her gay friend, you're not her regular friend, you're not her emergency regular friend, you're her emergency pretending to be gay but actually straight friend. A bit pathetic no? Might wanna try and move up the food chain or move on to someone else.

I don't get what an "emergency gay friend is"...I have tons of friends and if I'm going to need one of them because of an emergency I'll pick them determined by how well of a friend they have been to me, not by him/her being straight, gay, or lesbian!

I don't get what an "emergency gay friend" is...I have tons of friends and if I'm going to need one because of an emergency I'll pick them by how well of a friend they have been to me, not by him/her being straight, gay, or lesbian! Yes I have straight friends, yes I have gay friends, yes I have lesbian friends, and yes I have bisexual friends, but that doesn't determine how well of a friend that person will be, it's how they act! So I see that as very judgmental! I have 1 friend that is closer to me than all the others and he is gay...it just so happens that I like him and it hurts me because he's gay so I know that he doesn't like me and it hurts me knowing that I will never get to call him "mine" and I want to tell him how I feel but I don't want to ruin our friendship or have him feel awkward towards me now because he knows...I love him to death and I just wish I could tell him...HE is the one I would call in my emergency situation, and *not because he's gay, but because he's been an awesome friend to me and I love him!

Op, I suggest you watch over her dead body. There's a character who pretends to be gay friend for a girl he is in love with for years. Because she thinks he's gay, she falls in love with someone else. She ended up with the other guy even after he told her he was straight and professed his love for her. Needless to say, it sucked to be him. You should tell her before you dig yourself into a terrible mess.
