Today, my daughter finally walked down the aisle with a man she loves very much. While I was escorting her, I managed to trip and fall down revealing what I've been trying to hide all of this time: my shiny gleaming bald head that showed when my wig fell off. FML

Heh. Makes me think of the commercial for wigs in Goodfellas "Don't buy wigs that come off at the wrong time. Morrie's Wigs DON'T come off!" "Even underwater! And remember, Morrie's Wigs are tested against hurricane winds." Then he gets beat with a phone receiver by Robert DeNiro, and his wig comes off. Gold.

I think you should look at this as a good thing. Wigs aren't the most discreet things in the universe anyway. Also, now that your secret is out, you probably at least don't feel the anxiety of keeping it anymore!

Like other people have said, I'm sure everyone around you knew you were wearing a wig. Most of them are sickeningly obvious. I would say FYL for being so dumb and thinking that people wouldn't notice that you've placed something that resembles a dead rat carcass on your head.

i completely agree with #18, ydi for wearing a wig. Balding is a natural part of life and you shouldn't be ashamed/self-concious/so egotistical as to being afraid to hide yourself behind someone elses hair

Sorry for the mean comments. It was your daughter's wedding day and even if some people thought you were wearing a wig, for it to come off has to be the most embarrassing thing for you and your daughter... be strong because you'll hear jokes about that for the rest of your life... lol
