Today, a frog made my hot tub his new home. I can't stand frogs and he moves lightening fast. I think the only way to get rid of him is to turn the heat on and boil him. Which I would do if my daughter didn't already adore him. FML

I have 4 pet frogs; 2 aquatic, 2 arboreal. there is not a single disgusting thing about any of them. stop being *******, both you and OP. I like watching my tree frogs hunt & eat their crickets every day. (:

you probably only hate frogs becaue you know nothing about them and you probably think they can hurt you/are slimy (neither of which is true, except for purely aquatic frogs, which have a slime coat, but they have no teeth).

*lightning Try pest control or a friend if you're that scared. Or a net. Or as someone else said, turn the heat up a little so he gets uncomfortable and leaves. Not enough to kill him though, that's cruel and unnecessary. Tell your kid he ran/jumped away. Frogs tend to do that.

if the temperature is gradually made to rise (as it would in a hot tub) the frog would adjust to the temp change until it was killed it. there have actually been studies done about this. Turning the temp up won't help...they will just have a warmer frog, or a cooked frog :)

You should be glad that you have a frog - it means you have a very healthy garden! I have a couple of frogs living in my spa that I have to shoo out whenever I want to use it. I don't mind one bit.
