Today, after my husband's phone buzzed like crazy all morning, I decided to pick it up and see what all the fuss was about. Is it wrong that I'd consider it less of a transgression if the boss was a man? I think it's like: if the boss was a woman, then your husband is a no-good dirty rotten cheater, but it's a man, then it's like: "Awwww, the husband's been living a tortured life in the closet." Sucks for you either way, though, so I'm sorry. Very sorry. FYL either way. And really, while it leads to a kinder explanation if the boss is a man, it's still no excuse for your husband's actions.

why does it matter how long you've been married and if you have kids? if some cheats on you, they cheat on you that's the important thing to focus on so you can break up with the bastard and move on. I have no sympathy for you, and even less if you take them back
