Today, for karaoke, I sang American Woman by Lenny Kravitz. The entire audience cracked up laughing and at least three people pulled out their cell phones to record my performance. At the end, the DJ said, "Looks like someone had too much tonight." I was completely sober. FML

Today, I was at a karaoke bar. After a few drinks, I gave it a go. Halfway through “Total Eclipse of the Heart” I got so into it, I knocked over the mic stand. The mic flew off, hit the DJ, who then hit the emergency stop button, cutting off the music. I froze as the bar erupted into laughter. I did get a free Coke for my “performance,” which was something. FML

People who are good singers and do karaoke are so sad..., it's invented to see who can f..k up a song the best and dude, you won. See that the phonevids get posted on youtube, you will be a hit!

Don't assume, OP! DJ could have meant "Look like someone had too much... FUN tonight!" But I highly doubt it. So in that case, OP, you can continue feeling sorry for yourself.

what exactly is "too much fun"? you can't have too much fun. it;s not like you're gonna wake up tomorrow and say "oh crap, i'm feeling sick, i had too much fun last night"

You're all wrong!! OP was just having a laugh and it sucks for him because it seems people were laughing at him instead of with him. However, if OP was serious about singing it and was not just having a laugh then he deserves it for taking karaoke seriously and not being able to laugh at himself.
