*Checks OP's location* Yep, she's definitely going to sue you.
im on the app whats her location
'Murica
She won't sue you just your insurance policy
Thing is, what looks like superficial couple chips on the paint could be many $$$$ of internal damage to the car and real injuries to the person especially if she had neck conditions. I had an a$$ like this OP here rear end me in Summer - she was texting!- and like the idiot that I am, I let it go, because it did not LOOK like much. The joke was on me, as I had to pay a shitload of money to fix the damages that the seemingly barely cracked bumper hid!!! I can't BELIEVE how many people here cheering the OP on when he CAUSED AN ACCIDENT!!! It was his fault!
Hey there crazy bitch, they let you out of the hospital already?
And maybe someone died somewhere because an ambulance was tied up by a crazy person who saw this as the first step in an awesome lawsuit to get some money. Having someone pay for the damage they have done is one thing and of course you have a right to that. Tying up an ambulance and medical personnel in the hope of getting more money is a different story.
I love how were talking about the damages to the vehicle as if that's what's shocking about this FML- not the fact that the other driver got carted away in an ambulance with obviously no injury.
We don't know for sure that there wasn't an injury. We only have half the story, most Likely being downplayed by the one who is at fault.
1. The OP never said they were texting, so how does that make him anything like the "ass" who hit you? 2. You're the idiot who let the other driver go without getting their insurance details. ALWAYS get insurance details, no matter how small the damage might be. 3. People make mistakes. Even good drivers make mistakes. While it IS the OP's fault they hit the other car, that doesn't mean they deserve to be insulted and vilified for it. Chances are, the OP is already kicking himself for even causing an accident. They don't need other people to make them feel twice as bad.
He's not kicking himself if he's complaining about the innocent party on here. Not all injuries are easily seen at the time of the accident. The other driver could have a bad back or previous neck injury that would make even a small accident cause of a big injury.
OP may have been paying perfect attention. A guy once crashed into the back of our van while me Mom was driving, and he tried to say it was her fault, yet he was tailgating her along the whole road and highway, and she had to slow down because she had just turned into a very small town.
132- You have a point there, my mom has Chiari Malformation, and if her head/ neck ;(mostly neck) is moved of bumped the wrong way, it could kill her or severely injure her at least....
Sounds like a bump in the road would cause more whiplash than getting tapped on the bumper by OP. come on people, be realistic.
I hate when people become dramatic ass holes just so they can get a little money from someone.
She is an attention *****. If he got taken away in an ambulance then a doctor will probably provide the evidence so you shouldn't lose if it comes to that.
I don't even have a comment.....wow..
And yet, here you are.
Just maybe, even if the damage was only minor, she was still hurt? Just because the vehicle has minor damage doesn't mean she is faking her pain. That's why you pay insurance. No matter what, OP was still at fault. Let the insurance company fight with her.
I think it's definitely possible. About 5 years ago someone rear ended the car I was in, the only damage to the car was a broken back light cover, the light wasn't even broken...I still ended up hurt. I didn't realize it right away, but not even an hour later I my entire back shot up in pain. I couldn't sit up, or move at all without crying because of how much it hurt. It took about a week to feel o.k again. The person in this fml may be faking, but it's possible she really was hurt or maybe she was incredibly worried she would be and wanted to be checked out.
