Ok op, while I'm sure your dad making that joke is getting old/ a bit pointed, he could have totally wigged out at your announcement . Your dad is probably coming to grips with this news, and trying to hard not to be weird. You could casually suggest a new " joke" is in order, but lets face it dads love to run a joke into the ground, especially if you laughed the first Time.

At least he's only cracking jokes at you, his reaction could of been a whole lot worse. Some parents refuse to even acknowledge their child if they find out they're homosexual.

i think your dad is just being silly :D, in a good way! I mean all dads are a lil silly aren't they? Leave it to your parents to embarrass you :D. I think this is possibly his way of showing that he loves you and that you haven't changed for him at all...and that he will still pick on you :), like all dads do :).
