Today, I corrected my mom in front of our family while she was ragging on my 12 year old cousin who got a piercing. She said, "You don't understand you don't have kids, but on the other hand you probably never will!" I have Polycystic ovary syndrome, she is right, I probably never will. FML

Your mom is a bitch. One of my old friends has Polycystic Ovary syndrome. I'm sorry to hear that you have it too =(

Wow, that syndrome sounds AWESOME! Have as much sex as you want and you'll never get pregnant.

YDI. That's what you get for budding in. Bet it shut you up. MOM WIN! Your sister needs to learn to hold her own anyway. #113- You Fail.

I'm 19 and got diagnosed with PCOS when i was 12 and have been on treatment since then. I have a severe case but the doctors and specialists have told me that I can fall pregnant one day :) You just need to find a good specialist to guide you through this, and anything is possible! :)

I have PCOS also. And thanks to fertility treatments, I also have gorgeous 2 and a half year old twins. My heart is with you. And your mom sucks. :(

having a physical disorder that prohibits you from bearing children in no way should stop you from becoming a parent if you choose to. Adoption being the obvious choice. your mom is an unbelievable bitch. but it's usually considered rude to correct someone in front of others, especially an elder. seems to me that your uterus works and you may be able to harvest eggs and have them implanted. if not, then a donor. good luck.

I'm sorry that you have a mom who would make a remark about something like that! It must be tough to know you probably won't have any biological children (unless your uterus is ok, then there's invitro, but thats still very expensive, I hear) because it means a lot to most women.. I know it does to me... of course, you could always adopt :3 Sorry about how off topic this is getting. You shouldv'e called your mom out on that. She shouldn't have said that, and in front of the family too D:<

I have POS too. that was quite a bitchy thing to say. i wonder if ill be able to have kids all the time. i dont know what i would do if someone i loved actually said it out loud.

This is a dumb FML. Almost 1 in 10 women have PCOS, and out of those about 95% can still have children. I have it myself, I'm not worried. Fertility drugs work wonders :P bitch move for your mom to say that though.

I, too have PCOS and was unable to get pregnant. I saw a specialist and he gave me the first fertility drug they like to start out with (clomid) and I concieved that month. I got pregnant the next time with no fertility drugs whatsoever. It's entirely possible.
