Your computer can only please one person a day. Today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either.
welll just in case in the future you want to try a new brand, i'm reslly satisfied w apple's mac
...how would that solve anything at all?
Try and see if a restore/roll back to windows 7/8.1 would work. I think you'll find what you need also in windows. old good luck
As someone who works in IT, the first step is ALWAYS back everything up, regardless if you're doing an upgrade, because you never know when your computer can crap out. Better to have everything backed up and not need it than to have nothing backed up and it get erased. Hopefully you can recover your info though! Check that "Windows.old" folder or try a recovery program
Normally, I'd say that you should call Customer Support and complain. However, having done so myself to try and figure out why my machine wouldn't upgrade, I can tell you first-hand that their Customer Service is s***. You're better off sending them a letter through snail-mail. Their address, as well as the current CEO's name, is available on Yahoo Finance.

No that happened to me too. Everything was lost
that never happened to me. my computer actually works better now
Always, always, always backup your files before updating windows like that, your 100% guaranted to lose files when upgrading to a new Windows operating system

YOU HAVEN'T LOST EVERYTHING!!! in events like this Windows creates a backup. you'll find ALL your files in the "windows.old" folder. just search it up!!!
Don't trust them when it says it'll retain your old files, you need to always back up your files before upgrading or changing your OS. Sometimes Windows is nice enough to put your files in a folder on the Windows drive called "windows.old" which would be where everything you had on that drive before would be saved. However I don't know if they kept that feature in Windows 10.
