maybe music may not be your thing?
What's with all the pictures of girls licking their chops these days?
hmmm, idk I just put up the picture cos it shows reptar :)
I know they didn't know it was you...but I guess it's a bit like constructive criticism. Practice more? Maybe your "Demo" wasn't up to recording standards? If you used a crappy mic and input it's going to sound bad. But if you just can't SING...well, you've got a problem there. I've recorded MANY songs in the past and when I hear them now...I literally CRINGE! But it was never my voice...just the cheesy recording, and overall SONG. lol Keep trying...maybe you'll make it somewhere if you have a pretty face & a nice look (unfortunately that makes up of 65% of a record labels decision) I don't personally think it's right but...I guess sex sells.
That's exactly what I thought. Unless your friends listen to a lot of demos, they likely aren't comparing yours to similar material. They're probably used to super-produced mainstream stuff; even an amazing demo will sound bare and sucky in comparison. I can understand wanting an honest opinion, but in that case you should've at least warned them that it was a demo, without identifying it as your demo.
play the flute instead, those things are so entertaining.
Just because you think it's good doesn't make it so. Kinda like how if you listen to a rubbish song a hundred times over you eventually find something to like about it... but it's still crap at the end of the day. Either that your your friends are assholes who have no taste in music.
it's like I said. if you're friends say you suck and they dnt even know it's you then you probably do. if 27 is your friend they only mean well. I was gonna say you could atemp to produce music but if a friend tells you you suck unbeknownst to them and you think it's good. maybe you should try a new career field.
theboldshadow= nice pic... very mjk

Welcome to the real world. Maybe you can end up like Ke$ha and make money by spewing out crap.
