lol #27 Also, it crossed my mind that she might not have known the necklace was hand-made and thrown it out because it looked hideous or like something she'd never actually wear. It sounds mean, but it's the number one reason that gifts meant to be worn stay stored away for eternity, if not junked.
You should take them and return them to the stores where you got, and sometime in the future mention that you did this to your mom sometime in the future.
#35, so you think the future would be best for this in the future? Future. #34, I stand by what i said. Her Mom's angry that her daughter is hotter than she is: She retaliated by throwing away gifts where her daughter would see them in order to undermine her daughter: Again, as long as you know that anything with a vag is shit-nuts crazy, it all makes total sense.

cossackkid01, it's a shame that your fantastic sense of humor (your comment to #35) is overshadowed by your obvious misogyny. The OP does not even state his/her sex. You have a desire to see this picture as some sort of sick mother/daughter competition, but the facts simply do not bear that out. I find your "analysis" offensive and childish.
#39- I calls em like I sees em. Every mom I've ever known with a daughter hates the thought of her daughter 'outdoing' her. Fathers are different: the want to live vicariously through their sons, so they push their boys to achieve more than they ever did. Moms want to handicap their daughters. It's not misogyny, it's the realization that people are nuts; and it doesn't happen by accident, it happens cause our parents FOLs
And #41, I do quite well for myself, thank you. I may well be (ok, I AM) a raging asshole, but that doesn't make what I say less true.

Wow, your mother sounds like a real bitch. That's just terrible.
You have a good reason to not buy her anything ever again now.
