Today, I came back from college and visited my parents house. There was a new family portrait hung over the mantel of my parents and 2 sisters. My mom had always wanted one but always postponed it. It was dated the day after I left for college. FML

I say, fish the stuff out of the trash, and keep them. I could be evil and say that you should give them again for Christmas or whatever holiday is up next. Or you could keep them for yourself. If you're a gal, wear the necklace yourself, and if she comments on it, be blunt and say, "Yeah, it's what I sent you for mother's day, but you threw it away. I'm keeping it." Next time, just give that ungrateful cow a book on manners. Or a good hard kick in the ass.

This is fake. Why would you mail home a gift for mother's day on the weekend of 10th if you were going to fly home to see you family on 12th anyways. It makes no sense. Why wouldnt you just bring the gifts with you when you went and flew home. I'm sick of attempted lies on FML. Either that or you're a complete idiot and paid to send a package home even tho you were going to be there the next day anyways.

#23 If that's the case, then there's absolutely no reason to keep it. If it looks like shit and the OP didn't even take the time to make it, I can see why it ended up where it did. Perhaps some hand-made maccaroni artwork would be more appropriate.
