Today, I found an injured rabbit by the side of the road. I was about to take it to the local vet, when my husband picked it up and casually snapped its neck. "No rabbit's worth my money" he said, forgetting that he's been a jobless moocher for over 3 years. Pass me the goddamn divorce papers. FML

The big difference is that he didn't do it out of mercy, but selfishness and with a clear lack of empathy. And if the vet couldn't take care of it they probably would've called a wildlife rehab place.

I suppose us men are just cold and heartless. FYI, vets usually avoid dealing with untamed, and wild animals.

Yeah, seriously. People that treat animals like that usually work their way up to people. Lack of compassion for some weaker living thing is a HUGE red flag so run for the hills hunny, RUN :/

I normally don't comment but wow, that is so beyond messed up. IMHO its one thing if its a situation where its almost certain the animal isn't going to survive the injury. But if you felt the rabbit was going to survive then going and snapping its neck is borderline sociopathic.
