Today, I found out that I'm pregnant. I had an IUD put in two years ago that's supposed to prevent pregnancy. To put it in perspective, less than 1% of people using this IUD get pregnant. Lucky me. FML

Right, exactly. Something goes wrong...ANYTHING goes wrong, blame the doctor first. Because there's no chance that a piece of medical equipment or a surgical procedures could ever be less than 100% effective. I knew you were American before I checked your profile. Doctors are fallible people, too. A doctor's error turned a simple gallbladder surgery into a double amputation for one of my dad's troops. I'm not saying all doctors will mess you up for life, but it can happen.
